Winter 2010-11 retrospect — 2 Comments

  1. I discovered your website and blog a few weeks back. You have done a superb job in capturing the essence of the summit.

I have been coming to Ice Lakes since the late 1950’s. Our family built our little cabin on Bales Rd. in 1962 and I, and my children have grown up there through the evolution from the Sierra Lakes Club to what it is today. This winter is the third monster winter in my memory. Each one has generated a new set of war stories.

I will look forward to meeting you in the future.

Thanks for the website. It gives me an eye on the summit when I can’t be there.

  2. More snow today? We can just hope spring will come…. I look forward to snowball fights this Serene Lakes Days as one of the competitions. Thanks for a great website. I have taken some time and looked around it, it is very nice.
