I mark this week as the beginning of the summer cycle here on the summit. It is when the snow melt is in full progress that the water falls start to flow. This week we skied down to Palisade Creek to see the annual flow of the spectacular Palisade Falls. Although this seasonal cascade has only a brief life in the spring, it is wonderful to behold.
