Winter is coming slowly to the summit this year. This early teaser storm dropped about 4 inches of the white stuff, but was gone in 3 days. While we have had a couple of potentially good storms come through, they have been relatively warm and we have received more rain than snow. Notice on the right side of this photo of Lake Van Norden the small circle of American Coots that stopped by on their migration south.
