This week’s post is going way off the summit to southern Africa(it may be as far as you can get on this planet). Last September Linda and I went on the number one trip in our bucket list to South Africa, Botswana, and Zambi for photo safaris. The trip fulfilled all our expectations and I have finally processed all of the 12,000+ photos we shot. We ended up with 5300 keepers which is a lot of images.
I have created a separate weblog of the trip which you can access at my African Weblog. We discuss all of the locations we visited and share some of the best of the images we came back with. Please enjoy it as much as we had making it. Next week we will return to activities on the summit.
One bit of summit news…
I do have one piece of information that may be of interest about the summit. Our long delayed mosquito season has finally started. It was very strange this year to be out in June and not worry about the bugs. Well the snow is gone, the water is pooling, and the skeeters are flying!
